Rising Tides for Drew Brown Young Unbeaten Boxer

Rising Tides for Drew Brown

Young Unbeaten Boxer

Drew Brown is a 20 year old professional middleweight boxer, the orthodox fighter has had 2 professional fights and has won both of them.

As an amateur Drew had 42 bouts winning 32 of them and boxed out of Far Cotton ABC in Northampton and was trained by John Daily, he is now trained by Eastside's Jon Pegg and also Spencer McCracken.

Drew’s favourite boxer is Danny Garcia at the moment, he told me “I just love his aggression and how he fights”.

I asked Drew what inspired him to take up the noble art? He informed me “I've been boxing now for 10 years I started when I was 10, what inspired me into boxing was I grew up in far cotton where my gym is and I was driving passed one day with my mum and I asked her to drop me off and since then I've never been out the gym”.

I asked Drew about his up and coming fight on the 21st October on the Rising Tides show at the Holte suite Villa park and how he though it would go? He told me “I'm feeling fit so I should smash it, I have been training and running hard for it so I've just got to go in and do the business now”.

I contacted friend of the column Jon Pegg to give his view on the young boxer, Jon told me “Drew is a very game and aggressive young man who throws bundles of shots and loves a fight. At just 20 he's not even close to his man strength yet,

When this appears he will be taking titles without a doubt”.

Dexter's Thoughts

Drew has 2 pro wins under his belt and is not even 21, he fighting on the Rising Tides show on the 21st October and will be looking for his 3rd win. He has a great team behind him in Eastside’s Jon Pegg and Spencer McCracken and they are tipping him to go far. The BBcolumn will look forward to seeing him on the Rising Tides show and give our review on the young boxer.
