New White Collar promotion in town
Friday 19th August will see a new unlicensed/White Collar promotion have there first show at the home of boxing in The home of boxing in Birmingham the Irish centre Digbeth. GS Promotions run by David Galil a former Showdown promotions Cruiser-weight champion brings you Retribution a white collar boxing event. I talked to David and asked him why he has made the move to promoting his old show, David informed me “ Basically I felt that it was time to do a show myself after fighting on multiple different shows myself and a pal have partnered up in doing this to hopefully start a new fight league in the white collar scene in Birmingham. This show we are hosting 2 title fights and will be having 14 bouts throughout on the night. I myself will be taking part to raise money for a charitable cause haven't decided which charity yet we will also have got Billy Evans and Danny Ryan both making there boxing debut on the show they are both formidable kickboxing champions and with big Sam who I believe to be the next big heavyweight in Birmingham's white collar scene all in all we aim to put on a friendly and exciting show and look forward to putting on one hell of a event”.
Dexter’s Thoughts
A new promotion in town and a new promoter David has fought on a few different promotions and now is putting one on himself, with some help from his partners I am sure the show will be a great event
