Black Country Boxing will help fight fans get into the festive spirit with a Boxing Dinner Show at Walsall Football Club on Friday, 2nd December.
‘Season’s Beatings’, sponsored by Grosvenor Casino Walsall, will feature a host of local fighters all looking to receive an early Christmas present.....another ‘W’ on their record.
Halesowen super middleweight, Lennox Clarke, and Bloxwich super lightweight, Luke Paddock, co-headline the show.
Clarke, now 14-0, is looking to build on his impressive recent performance on Matchroom Boxing's Birmingham show at the BarclayCard Arena where he outpointed Adam Jones whilst Paddock, 14-2, appears at the home of the football club he supports.
‘Cool Hand’ will be looking to bounce back from his English Title defeat at the fist of Anthony Upton back in July. The 24 year-old has won 14 of his 16 contests and will be looking to get back in major title contention come 2017.
Undefeated Stoke super welterweight, Owen Jobburn, also features. The former soldier made his debut at Fenton Manor last month and will be looking to record another victory this time around.
Leamington super lightweight, Michael Cole, will be hoping to secure a hat-trick of wins since turning pro in May. The 28 year-old has defeated Matt Seawright and Kristian Laight already this year and will be looking to finish 2016 with a third straight win.
Other fights will be announced in due course.
Standard tickets for ‘Season’s Beatings’, priced at £30, are available by calling the boxers. £60 VIP tickets for tables of ten, with two-course meal, are available by calling Walsall FC Box Office on 01922 651 414/416.
The weigh-in and aftershow take place at Grosvenor Casino Walsall, Bentley Mill Way, Walsall WS2 0LE (just off junction 10 of the M6). Grosvenor Casino Walsall will have a presence at the football club on the evening and have linked up with local taxi firm, Yellow Taxi’s, to supply a number of free taxi’s to take guests from the Banks’s Stadium to the casino post-fight.
