Benjamin Takes on Walker Live on Channel five

Birmingham’s Eastside gyms Kaisee Benjamin (25) will be defending his Midlands area Welterweight title live on channel five against the unbeaten Conah Walker on the 22nd August. Walker (25) from Wolverhampton has won 7 of his 8 fights with one ending in a draw. Benjamin won the Welterweight title on the road stopping Alex Fearon in the seventh in November of 2018. He has defended the title twice since then getting a draw in a cracking fight against BcBs Danny Ball then going on to beat Levi Ferguson on points. Kasiee’s (10-1-1) last fight was against the unbeaten Shaquille Day (13-0) in an English Welterweight eliminator in March of this year where Benjamin won on points.

The fight will be on the undercard of fellow Eastside gym figher Shakan Pitters as he takes on Chad Sugden for the Light Heavyweight British title. This is set to be a cracking fight and a great show with some of Birmingham and the Black Country’s finest on display for all to see free on channel five.

Dexter’s Thoughts

What a great addition to the Hennessy sports Promotions show, this fight has all the makings of a cracking contest. Walker was meant to be taking on Nathan Bendon for this title but I think due to the lockdown Benjamin hasn’t vacated and I got to say this is a much better contest. Walker has had some great performances in his 8 fights but this will be by far his greatest test. Benjamin has the experience and has competed over the 10 round distance on a number occasions, Walker has fought several time over six. This is set to be a great fight and on a great show with both Birmingham and the Black Country being represented on this live show. I look forward to watching this fight and this great show live on channel five 22nd August.
