Benjamin Wins Demolition Job

‘The Real Body Breaker’ Kaisee Benjamin put on a devastating display on the undercard of the Hennessy Sports Promotion show (10.12.21). Benjamin was moving up in level as he took on the very dangerous Wiston Campos. Campos has had 47 fights and had won 33 of them with 19 of them coming via way of stoppage, Campos had fought at a much higher level and hard took on the likes of Josh Kelly. Benjamin weighed in for the fight at 10 stone 4 with Campos coming a whopping 10 stone 13 making this contest a super Welterweight title and was dropped from a 8 rounder to a 6 rounder.

Benjamin started the first round by taking the centre of the ring and banged in some big shot. In the middle of the first Benjamin switched to southpaw and dropped Campos with a lovely right-hand jab. Campos got to his feet and continued but you could already see the writing was on the wall as Benjamin took his time and picked his shots well with Campos luck to hear the bell to end the round. Benjamin came out with controlled intent in the second, and caught Campos with some hard fast right hands, Benjamin continued to pick great shots switch hitting all the way with the right hand doing all the damage with Compos just buckled under the relentless pressure taking a full ten count.

Dexter’s Thought’s

What a performance by Benjamin stepped up a level and has definitely shown he is ready for the big fights. Campos came in heavy and I think Benjamin punished him for doing this raking him apart in just two short rounds. I think Benjamin should be looking straight at a British title shot at Super Welterweight, Welterweight or Super Lightweight what ever one he chooses to be at. Myself I think that at Super Lightweight he has the potential to be a world beater and now need to crack on and claim some of these big titles.

The stoppage and performance was on another level and I really can’t wait to see what Benjamin and his Eastside gym team have install for us in 2022.
