Three in a Row For Willetts

Twenty right year old female hot prospect Tori-Ellis Willetts took her professional record to three without defeat as she competed in a six-round super Bantamweight contest on the undercard of the Ahmed v Braithwaite fight. Willetts from Nuneaton took on Bulgarian Ivanka Ivanova (36) who had entered the ring as a pro thirty-two times. Willetts weighed in at eight stone six with Ivanova coming in eight stone seven with Chris Dean reffing.

Steady start by Willetts in the first who put some nice combinations together against a very game opponent winning the round. Great jabbing off Willetts in the second who put together some great combinations together as Ivanova pressed her all the way. Great third round for Willetts boxing well with some eye-catching combinations as Ivanova still looked competitive.

Willetts continued her high-tempo work rate in the fourth but was warned by the ref for pushing her opponent's head down, Willetts continued her good work landing nice shots and winning the round. Willetts went to the head and body well in the fifth putting some great combinations together and showcasing her talents. Willetts closed the show in the final round picking her shots well putting some eye-catching combinations together working her opponent's head and body as Ivanova fought back.

Willetts Wins 60 to 54 I had it the Same

Dexter’s Thoughts

Great performance by Willetts tonight as she just seems to get better and better. Her opponent was a very, very game fighter who really went out to test Willetts. Like Sian O’Toole she is one of the hottest female prospects coming out of the Midlands at the moment, I have no doubt that it will not be long before she is challenging for titles on the big stages of the TV promotions. Willetts is a talent fighter with a big future ahead of her and I look forward to seeing her in the ring again very soon.
