Title fights for Foster, Clarke & Ball Live on BT sports

Litchfield's Commonwealth and British Super Bantamweight champ will be fighting for the vacant IBF International super-bantamweight title live on BT sports on March 26th. The unbeaten 23 year old will be taking on Albarn Rodriguez from Spain in the 10 round contest. Rodriguez is 35 and has won 10 of his 14 fights and is the current Spanish Super Bantamweight champ and has fought for the IBF European and the WBO European titles in his last 3 fights.

Also on this Queensberry promotions show you have the BcB pairing of Lennox Clarke and Danny Ball. Clarke (29) from Birmingham will be contesting for the vacant Commonwealth and British Super Middleweight titles against the unbeaten Willy Hutchinson. Hutchinson has an impressive record winning all 13 of his contests with 9 of the coming via knockout. Clarke's record is just as impressive winning 19 fights out of 22 drawing 1 with his only defeat being a split decision against the unbeaten Lerrone Richards for the same titles he is contesting for. Clarke will be looking to rectify this one defeat by winning these belts that a lot of people think he won.

Dudley’s unbeaten fighter Danny Ball will also be on this great card where he will be defending his WBC International silver Welterweight title. The 24 year old will be defending against another unbeaten fighter called Sam Gilley who has won all 11 of his contests. Ball won the title in October of 2019 stopping Mason Cartwright in the 3rd round. Ball has had 10 fights winning 9 and drawing 1 against the talented Kaisee Benjamin. Gilley 26 from London is the current southern area Welterweight champ and has 5 knockouts on his record.

This is set to be a great card with some of the Midlands finest on show with hopefully 3 belts coming back returning to Midlands.

Dexter's Thought’s

What a great show this is shaping up to be with some of the most exciting fighters from Birmingham and the Black Country all going for or defending titles. Foster is now looking beyond the British and Commonwealth going for his first international title. I honestly can’t see him losing this contest and this belt will move him up the IBF rankings and get him closer to the world title.

It is great to see that Lennox Clarke is getting another shot at the British and Commonwealth super Middleweight titles after a very controversial defeat to Lerrone Richards at the end of 2019. Willy Hutchinson is an unbeaten prospect and at 22 I’m sure Queensberry will be looking for him to win these titles but Hutchinson can not underestimate Clarke. Lennox is a very talented and experienced fighter who will want to rewrite his last fight by winning these titles and I can see him upsetting the apple cart and bringing the titles back to brum.

Danny Ball defends his title against another hot prospect in Sam Gilley. Gilley is unbeaten in 11 fights and won the Southern area title in his last fight a year ago in March of 2020. Ball who is also unbeaten will be looking to make a statement and propel up the WBC rankings.

The Column is anticipating three wins for the Midlands fighter and will be reporting on them other 26th.
