Dexter's Thoughts

What a great lineup of local talent on display tonight, Tommy Owens Promotions have put on yet another great show. All the fights where hard fought and none of the local lads were given a easy ride by there opponents who all had put in good shifts. Congratulations to Marcus Ffrench, Kelcie Ball, Tom Silcox, Don Broadhurst and Nathan Hardy on there wins. I thought Sid Bowater was hard done by with his defeat, I personal thought it was a draw, boxers who really caught my eye on the night were Ishmael Ellis and Teon Gibbs. Ishmael had a tough fight but showed great skills to keep his undefeated record and should now be looking for one of these British Challenge belts. Teon looks like a carbon copy of his older brother and one of the bbcolumn's boxers to watch Cori Gibbs which isn't a bad thing, he is 3 and 0 looks like he has all the potential to go far. The Birmingham Boxing Column looks forward to TOP's next promotion on the 10th June.
